Root, Root, Root for the Home Team

We spent many hours at the ball field this year between both boys in different leagues.  Lucas played T-Ball and Logan played pitching machine.  I was a little concerned with doing it all this year with a baby, but it was a great season for both boys.  We had great coaches in both leagues that were encouraging and invested in the kids.   It was sad to see the season end this year. 

I just love parties.  I love any kind of party to make decorations, invitations, and coming up with themes and activities.  Make fun of me if you want, but it is something that I enjoy☺  Tonight we had a party at our house for Logan's team.  We had the entire team here and their families.

The dads played wiffle ball against the team.  That was fun to watch!

Jeremiah's sister coached the kid's team, but Coach Matt couldn't help himself.  He coached some too.

Highlights from the season:

Logan got to play three positions this year.  He played catcher, first base, and short stop.

Summer Play Group: Week 3

This week, Lori Riley was in charge of the activity.  We did Geocaching, but she ended up making her own instead of using the ones from the website.  Some of those are really hard to find and are located on busy streets.  She came up with some creative clues for the five that we found. 

Getting ready to go.  Trying to figure out the coordinates was the hardest part. We were divided into three groups and had the same five clues in different orders.  We had a race to see who could get finished first. 

Clue #1) The real message is inside, but you are looking for information on the outside.

Harper found the first one!!  The paper said to take a group picture.

Clue #2: Fall Friday nights under these lights.

Clue #3: I DUG the ballgame, especially when the other team strikes OUT!

Clue #5: This is where the fun begins and ends.

Lucas was the only one who hadn't found one in the group.  When he didn't find the last one, a meltdown soon followed.  It was rather ridiculous.
