Dragon Park

My mom used to take me to this park when I was little and I have enjoyed taking my kids as well.  Last year Julie and I took the kids to this park and Chloe requested that we go back before summer's end.  It was blazing hot, but we had a great day anyway. 

My dad had a few hours off work and came to meet us.

We had a tasty treat from Gigi's cupcakes (Rebecca's are better).

First of Many

This week we got a basketball goal installed.  It was a process because we had a carport removed and had some paving done in order to have a flat area for them to play.  It has taken several months to get to this day...the first family game.  Logan has fallen in love with basketball and wants to play all the time.  Lucas is starting to love it too.  I am glad they have a place to play and practice and I look forward to watching many games out here.  Landon has reminisced often of games he played with his dad and brother, and I am glad we are going to carry on the tradition in our family.

Summer Play Group Week 7: Tie-Dye Shirts

This week we made tie-dye shirts with sharpies organized by Julie and Jamie.  It was a much easier project than last week!  They turned out well and the kids enjoyed their creations.
