Family Get-together

This weekend we had a get together with some family that I don't often get to see, even though we live in the same town.  Actually, there were some there that I have never met.  It was a fun evening and I hope to do this more often than every five years or so.  Maybe some more family will get to come that didn't get to come this time.

We celebrated Butch's Birthday with some cake and ice cream.
 
Gylene snuck some icing to Lane.  He wasn't sure about it.

This was seriously the neatest thing I have seen in a while.  Carrie ordered these lanterns and she brought some for us to use.  It was just like the part in Tangled when I admit, I got a little teary-eyed.  haha.

    Teri: Thank you for sharing. The lanterns bring tears to my eyes as this is how we celebrated William's life the weekend he passed away. So glad you all remain strong as a family. We hope to one day be there too. I really enjoy reading your blogs. You are an inspiration!

    Thank you, Linda! The lanterns were beautiful, and we are very sorry for your loss in your family. I am sure it is still very difficult for everyone. We would love for you all to come and visit!

    Terri: We hope to make it to TN very soon. The kids love it there! The kids still remember the family reunion at Gylene's. Keep the blogs coming. Love to watch how your boys are growing up.
