366 Photo Project: December Photos {the last one}

I can't believe I actually finished a goal that I set ONE YEAR ago!  I make lofty goals for myself and sometimes don't end up finishing.  I am glad I did this one, but I don't think I will be doing it this year.  Maybe next year.  It did make me take more photos of just everyday life and I will be glad one day that I have those.   Several people have said this year that they wanted to do it this project next year.  Well, now's your chance!  Get those camera's ready!

The return of Ralphie, our elf.  He ate the boy's doughnuts.
Logan and other TNT kids did a puppet show over the story of Daniel.
Lloyd and Kai are hijacking our Christmas Village.
Ralphie Dickerson made a mess this morning.
The children's choir is working hard for their performance!
Naptime snuggled next to mommy.
Our Northpole Party
Logan's Birthday Party
Choir Christmas Cantata.  I am SOOOOOOOOO excited that we have a new music minister beginning this week!!  I look forward to singing in the choir and not leading the choir!  It's been too long.
Lucas got in trouble because he ate all the candy out of the Advent house at once.  Logan thought it was Ralphie, but we knew who the culprit was.
Our Christmas Card photo.  I seriously love this photo!!
We bought a foreclosure and Landon didn't have the key to the house.  He tried every door and window but he couldn't get in.  He got a brick and busted out the front door (which was going to be replaced anyway).  It was funny to watch.  He said it's not as easy as it looks on TV.
Having fun at Chloe's Birthday party at Jumpville!!
Celebrating Logan's birthday at El Tap.
Seeing the lights at Opryland Hotel.
Checking out the stars with a new telescope.
Ralphie was a bit gross this day.  The boys thought it was funny though.
I love a baby in cute pjs!
Lucas is playing the pretend cello.  Notice his lovely outfit he put together.  classy
I went to Wal-Mart and found Landon doing this to Jesse Pullum's car.  How mature.  haha
A new family favorite game...bocce ball.
Christmas cooking after an eventful day.
Ralphie is pumping some iron.
Christmas Eve excitement!
Christmas morning with my favorite little guys!
Christmas with my dad's family.
I got to spend some time with Rita when she was in visiting family.  Ady wasn't thrilled with taking the photo at the time.
Yesterday Lucas got 5 x's on his chart which means he can't use electronics for the next day. We are on our way to Indiana and he was complaining about not being able to watch a movie or play the iPad. Landon threw a notepad and a pencil to him and told him to draw something. This is what he drew....Lucas is the sad face and Logan is the happy face holding the iPad. We laughed our heads off.
We had a great time playing in lots of snow in Indiana.
On our way home from Indiana, Lucas saw this and said, "So that's how they make clouds."  Someone wasn't listening during our water cycle lesson.
Lane is celebrating New Year's with friends.
Happy New Year's!!!

I just love Christmas!  It is much more fun when you have children.  I am blessed beyond measure.
I love how Landon decorates the house for Christmas.  It makes me smile when I pull up at night.

To start off our Christmas family functions, we went to Landon's parents house on Christmas Eve morning.

We had a Christmas Eve Silent Lord's Supper at church.  I ended up taking Lane out because "silent" isn't possible unless he's asleep.  He got to play with a little friend.
I wish Gabrielle lived in Sparta so he could have a little friend at church his age.  They laughed at each other.  It was so cute!

Sara wrapped my presents this year.  It's the best they have ever looked.  I can't tie bows very well, but hers are beautiful.
Here are my bows...not like hers☺
Then off to my mom's for Christmas.
It doesn't take long to start this.
I was excited to give this gift.  He loves Duck Dynasty.
Lucas wanted to take some pictures.
Time to get ready for Santa.

Christmas morning
Santa brought what they asked for...Electric Sparks Scooters!!
They weren't expecting this one.  We got them a WiiU.  They flipped out.
Pacis and puffs, what more do you need?
They wanted to try out their new scooters outside, even though it was freezing.
Logan is trying out his sparks.

I really wish I had this on video.  It is faster than Lucas thought and it took off with him.  He almost crashed into the house, and it scared him.
You'd think I would have this memorized, but I always have to look at the recipe.  We had chocolate gravy and biscuits for breakfast.  My granny used to make this for me all the time and I always looked forward to it as a child.  Who am I kidding...as an adult too!
Granny's Chocolate Gravy Recipe
1 cup sugar
3 tbs flour
2 cups milk
4 tbs cocoa
2 tbs butter
tsp vanilla
Stir all ingredients into a large bowl.  Microwave for 3 minutes and stir.  Repeat at 30 second intervals until thick.  Watch to make sure it doesn't overflow in your microwave.  It gets me every time!
We hosted Christmas this year for Landon's family.  We have a rotation for each holiday.  Instead of our traditional Christmas meal, we had eggrolls.  Of course there were several A Christmas Story jokes.
We have two new babies this Christmas!!
A little Euchre game before the meal.
They cooked them outside so it wouldn't be stinky.
Landon got a UK lanyard as a joke.  I'm sure he will use that one.
The day after Christmas we celebrate with my dad's family.  We have gone to Life Care for the last several years because Della Mae has a hard time getting around and it's just easier for us to just do it there.
Lane started crawling correctly instead of his flop/scoot.
We hope you had a blessed Christmas as well!!
